#10 Lessons from the tribunal  In 2007, Synthetic 1st XI Captain Mal Lockwood received 6 weeks suspension from the tribunal after issuing an umpire with a verbal spray at Ferndale. Believe it or not, there is a moral to this storyÖ In the unfortunate event that you lose your cool at an umpire and find yourself in the book - donít then follow it up by giving the tribunal a piece of your mind... Itís unlikely that youíll then be able to plead insanity and have your sentence reduced!
